Key Responsibilities:
- Creating purchase orders and approval of orders in terms of policy if required.
- Ensure stock requested from outside branches is loaded and any variances on requests are communicated to the relevant parties in advance to dispatch.
- Any stock adjustments to be approved by Branch Manager
- Physical security of the whole store by ensuring access doors to stock are manned or locked at all times
- Monthly Stock counts to be scheduled
- Ensure the store opens promptly and on time in the morning
- Perform functional tasks when required or as expected on request from the Branch Manager
- Promote the company image by maintaining good housekeeping
- Develop knowledge of the products and services being offered to customers/branch
- Develop an understanding of how a business operates as well as contribute to improving efficiency
- Take responsibility for own development
- Receiving Stock & Safeguarding of Stock
- Stock Issue & Inter Branch Transfers
Skills & Experience Required:
- Good interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter within the TrenTyre team
- Computer knowledge is a critical requirement
- Attention to detail
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points.
- Valid Driver’s License, Code B.
