TRENTYRE TYREGUARD TYRE DAMAGE GUARANTEE POLICY

Receive peace of mind with TrenTyre’s TyreGuard by acquiring a 1-year tyre damage guarantee on the tyres purchased from TrenTyre. Tyre damage guarantee period starts at the date of fitment of your tyres on the nominated vehicle. We do appreciate your business and support. This tyre damage guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way. Some TrenTyre products may have different Warranty/Guarantee terms to other products due to the nature of the product’s design, manufacture or expected use.

  1. If you wish to make a claim under guarantee, please contact your nearest TrenTyre Retail outlet.
  2. TrenTyre requires that you provide your original proof of purchase documents to enable you to proceed quickly in the event of a claim.
  3. The tyre damage guarantee is in addition to (and does not exclude or modify in any way) any non-excludable statutory rights you may have (including under the Trade Practice Act).
  4. It would assist TrenTyre to ensure that the correct relevant replacement or repairs of your tyre is concluded in a speedy manner if you are able to provide a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.
  5. The relevant TrenTyre Branch Manager will review the damage to your tyre and conclude your tyre claim immediately.
  6. Our first course of action will always be to attempt to repair the problem or concern with your tyre, and only if we are unable to safely repair the problem, a new tyre will be offered as a replacement. For safety reasons, a maximum of 2 repairs is allowed to be claimed on any one (1) tyre before a replacement of a new tyre is approved.
  7. You will then be required to buy a new tyre from TrenTyre as replacement of damaged tyre, but will receive a credit for the “life” lost on the damaged tyre which has is covered by TyreGuard.
  8. TrenTyre Branch Manager will calculate your credit by measuring the original tread depth of the new tyre purchased, and also measure the remaining tread depth of the damaged tyre. Subtracting these 2 measurements from each other, the TrenTyre Branch Manager will be able to calculate the percentage of tyre life used prior to the damage, thus also calculating the percentage of tyre life lost on the damaged tyre. Using this percentage of tyre life lost and applying to original tyre purchase price, value of credit on new purchase will be calculated.
  9. Customer has the full right to request detailed workings of this credit calculation for peace of mind.
  1. This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee does not cover;
    a) normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of tyre tread)
    b) defects caused by rough handling (including, without limitation, defects caused by sharp items, by bending, compressing, etc.), or
    c) defects or damage caused by misuse of the Product, including use that is contrary to the instructions provided by TrenTyre on normal care of your tyres, including regular wheel-alignment and rotations.
    d) other acts beyond the reasonable control of TrenTyre.
  2. This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee does not cover defects or alleged defects caused by the fact that the Product was used with any product or accessory not manufactured, or supplied by TrenTyre or was used otherwise than for its intended use.
  3. This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee is not enforceable if the Product has been modified or repaired by anyone other than an authorized TrenTyre representative, if it is repaired using unauthorized tools and this shall be determined in the sole discretion of TrenTyre.
  4. This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee is not enforceable if the Product has been exposed to extreme thermal or environmental conditions or to rapid changes in such conditions, to corrosion, to oxidation, to influence from chemical products.

A third party, independent operator provides the vehicle and all accessories on which the tyre operates. Therefore, TRENTYRE will not accept responsibility under this tyre damage guarantee for the operation, availability, services or range of the tyres in use with the specific vehicle.

If the Product has been re-exported from its original destination country to another country, the Product may contain country specific elements that are not considered to be a defect under this Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee.

This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee is your sole and exclusive remedy against TRENTYRE and TRENTYRE’s sole and exclusive liability in respect of defects in any of our Products.

This Limited Tyre Damage Guarantee replaces all other potential guarantees, warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise, including, without limitation, and where permitted by applicable law, any implied conditions, warranties or other terms as to satisfactory quality or fitness for purpose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law(s) TRENTYRE does not assume any liability for loss of or damage, for any loss of profit, loss of use of Products or functionality, loss of business, loss of contracts, loss of revenues or loss of anticipated savings, increased costs or expenses or for any indirect loss or damage, consequential loss or damage or special loss or damage.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TRENTYRE’s liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the Product.
