BREAKDOWN TECHNICIAN • WINDHOEK

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused Breakdown Technician to join the TrenTyre Namibia team in Windhoek. If you have tyre fitment experience, work well under pressure and are ready to assist customers when they need it most, we’d like to hear from you.

Purpose of Position:

The Breakdown Technician will be responsible for attending to roadside and customer breakdown call-outs, fitting and repairing tyres, and ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to breakdown and roadside assistance call-outs.
• Fit and repair tyres on passenger, commercial and truck vehicles.
• Ensure fast, safe and professional service delivery.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Inspect tyres and recommend suitable solutions to customers.
• Ensure company equipment and vehicles are kept clean and in good condition.
• Follow TrenTyre’s safety procedures and company standards.
• Assist in the workshop when required.
• Be available for standby duties after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Ability to fit all types of tyres from passenger to truck tyres.
• Previous tyre industry experience will be highly advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work after hours and standby shifts.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points.
• Valid Driver’s Licence Code B required.
• Code CE1 or CE licence will be advantageous but is not a requirement.
• Must reside in Windhoek.
• Must provide proof of no criminal record, not older than 6 months.
