Tyre Fitter/Technician • Mariental

Key Responsibilities:

• Tyre fitting and removal
• Correctly lift a motor vehicle
• Utilise the correct tools for the job
• Correctly fit tyres to the rim
• Fit wheels onto motor vehicles correctly
• Match the dual wheels correctly
• Report any defects to the Branch Manager, e.g. studs, washers, and wheel nuts
• Inflate tyres according to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Apply safety standards
• Torque wheel nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications
• Receive customers in a friendly manner and with a smile

Skills & Experience Required:

• Good interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work with clients
• Ability to work under pressure and have great attention to detail
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a tyre technician, OR have the ability to be a fast and trainable learner

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with a minimum of 23 points.
• Valid Driver’s License
